KAUKAUNA — Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022 is the first day candidates for Kaukauna City Council can begin circulating nomination papers for the spring election.

Four alderperson seats are up for election in 2023.  The incumbents are:

  • Alder District 1 – Marty DeCoster
  • Alder District 2 – Kelli Antoine
  • Alder District 3 – Brian Schell
  • Alder District 4 – Pennie Thiele

There are two elections that may be scheduled in 2023 – Spring Primary (if needed) on February 21 and Spring Election on April 4.

  • Friday, December 23, 2022 – Last day (5 p.m.) for incumbents not seeking re-election to file Declaration of Non-Candidacy with the City Clerk.
  • Tuesday, January 3, 2023 – Last day (5 p.m.) for candidates to file nomination papers with the City Clerk.
  • Tuesday, February 21, 2023 – Spring Primary (if required)
  • Tuesday, April 4, 2023 – Spring Election
