KIMBERLY — The Kaukauna Galloping Ghost open their Fox Valley Association conference season Sept. 4 at 7 p.m. at Kimberly.

The game marks the dawn of a era in the rivalry as Papermaker Stadium hosts the inaugural “Battle for the Paddle.”
Both schools already carry a fierce, well-established history in the Fox Valley Association — but this new title and trophy add a fresh layer of stakes to an already heated series with the paddle heading to the winning team’s school to be displayed for the year.
Bragging rights, conference positioning, and now a namesake trophy on the line.
The trophy, created by Bella’s Custom Design, will be displayed for the first time at Friday’s game.
