KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Ghosts’ cross girls country team will return to the Division 1 state meet after winning their sectional today in Manitowoc.

Two members of the boys team also will race in the meet set for Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 at the Ridges Golf Course in Wisconsin Rapids.

This will be the third appearance in a row for the Ghosts, who won the state title in 2020 and finished 6th year ago..

The boys team finished fifth, with Aaron Schimke and Andrew Milhans qualifying for the boys meet. This will be Schimke’s third appearance at state as well.
