Shiocton flooding

SHIOCTON — The president of the village of Shiocton has issued a large-scale evacuation for all village residents until further notice.

All residents within village limits should evacuate by 3 p.m. today, April 15, 2026.

Water levels are rising faster than expected and conditions are projected to worsen over the next several days. For residents’ safety, it is critical that they leave the area by the stated deadline.

Officials are continuing to monitor the situation and will provide updates as they become available.

An emergency shelter has been established through the Red Cross at:

Black Creek Community Center
507 S. Maple St.

Please do not delay. For residents who choose not to evacuate, emergency responders will likely be unable to reach them assist once conditions worsen.
