KAUKAUNA — As Kaukauna Ghosts girls’ basketball returned to action at home Thursday following the holiday break, the team celebrated senior Addison Baumgart’s 1,000th career point scored Dec. 9 in a victory over Mosinee.
Baumgart is the sixth player in program history to reach the milestone, joining an elite group that includes Chloe Van Zeeland (1,369 points), Alexa Kinas (1,249), Sara Biese (1,126), Graysin Hartjes (1,099), and Maria Schneider (1,027).
A three-year starter, Baumgart has been a key contributor to the Ghosts’ success.
She will continue her basketball career at Northern Michigan University next season.
Kaukauna’s next game is Jan. 7 and Oshkosh West before returning home Jan. 10 to host Appleton North for “Dress Like Coach Hendrickson Night.”
