KAUKAUNA — Galloping Ghosts’ junior Alexa Kinas joined the 1,000 career scoring club during Wednesday’s game against conference rival Hortonville.

Kinas’ accomplishment will be honored Friday before the Ghosts’ home game against Appleton East.

Tipoff us at 7:30 p.m. and the game will stream live on The Score/WHBY.

The Ghost (9-5, 14-5) currently sits in third place behind Hortonville and Neenah.

Kaukauna had been ranked as high as No. 1 in the state coaches poll before an injury to Alana Zarneke ended her season, and an ankle injury limited Kinas in several games.

Kaukauna has four games left before post-season begins for the girls.
