Commerce Crossing

KAUKAUNA – The Reserve on Arbor Way today officially announced plans to build a new senior living community in Kaukauna to meet growing needs in the Fox Valley.

The Reserve on Arbor Way will be located at 1400 Arbor Way in Commerce Crossing, adjacent to the Aurora Medical Center off Highway 41 and is expecting their grand opening for resident move-ins mid 2026, according to a news release.

The project is a collaboration of Wisconsin-based senior living professionals and companies that assembled their talents to design, build and manage the multi-building campus.

The architecture and design firm, EUA, general contractor, Consolidated Construction Company (“CCC”), and senior living management company, Frontida Management Group are working with The Reserve and the city of Kaukauna to develop the project.

“Our team has been in sync since day one—encouraging each other to be intentional in creating a home and culture where Fox Valley seniors can live and thrive,” FMG CEO, Crystal Miller said in the news release. “It is an amazing experience for all of us that will, in turn, result in a lively community for our residents and a great place to work for our employees.”

The Reserve on Arbor Way will be a campus that features 108 independent living apartment units (in a 4-story midrise tower); a 48-unit residential care apartment complex (RCAC); and a 56-unit community-based residential facilities (CBRF) building that will specialize in enhanced assisted living and memory care.

Some of the highlights of The Reserve’s planned amenities include elevated dining venues, fitness center, physical therapy facilities, salon with massage room, indoor swimming pool, walking paths, and rooftop terrace.

“The idea is for The Reserve to serve as home for seniors as they begin their third act of life,” Miller said. “We are creating a refined and elevated experience without the stuffiness—a casual and comfortable home for Fox Valley seniors who have worked hard to earn a comfortable lifestyle for their retirement.”

The development is expected to employ over 150 full and part-time employees.
