GRAND CHUTE — A Florida teen was killed and two others injured when a van crashed into a building Monday while attempting to park in Grand Chute.

According to a news release from the Grand Chute Police Department, police and fire emergency responders were called out at 3:52 p.m. Monday to a report of a vehicle striking a building in the 2900 block of W. College Ave. in Grand Chute, where multiple injuries were reported.

Investigators say a passenger van drove into the building while attempting to park, striking several people inside.

An 18-year-old from Parrish, Florida, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.

Two additional people were also transported by ambulance to local hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The news release did not clarify if the person killed or the people injured were inside the building or inside the van.

The Grand Chute Police Department was assisted on scene by the Wisconsin State Patrol, Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office, Gold Cross Ambulance, and the Fox Cities Victim Crisis Response Team.
