KAUKAUNA — Although there’s still nothing like sitting in the Kaukauna gym in person to watch a high school basketball game, fans will have the next best thing this season.
Both boys and girls home games will stream live online this season.
The girls’ basketball season kicks off Tuesday, Nov. 21 with an away game at Bay Port. The Ghosts first home game Tuesday, Nov. 28 against conference opponent Fond du Lac. Tip time is 7:30 p.m.
This season, Kaukauna girls’ basketball and W7 have reached an agreement for W7 to live stream all ten Kaukauna home regular season games in the 2023-’24 season.
“W7, the leader in Wisconsin high school girls sports, is excited to be the new home of Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts GBB,” commented W7.
The boys’ basketball season gets under way Friday, Dec. 1 with a home game against conference opponent Oshkosh North. Tip time is 7:30 p.m.
Home games will be streamed by Zaleski Sports, which has streamed all the Kaukauna football games this season.
“Zaleski Sports is Wisconsin’s largest sports broadcast neitwor with over 1,600 games broadcast annually,” according a statement from Jason Zaleski. “OUr mission is to show th hard work of Wisconsin igh school student athletes in a postivie light to viewers statewide.
These livestreams will include play-by-play, comentary an post-game interviews with players and coaches.
