KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna location of home remodeler Leaf Home notified the state this past week that they plan to lay off 37 employees permanently from its decking business.

In a notice filed Tuesday with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, the company said it would be closing its decking business, and terminating about 37 employees, with the first five being let go about Nov. 11, 2023

These layoffs are expected to be permanent, the company told the state.

The anticipated date of the separation for the second group of 32 employees will be Dec. 28, 2023.

The remainder of the Kaukauna facility, located at N2277 W 41 Frontage Rd., will continue to operate after Dec. 28, 2023.

All affected employees have been notified of their separation dates and that their separation from employment will be permanent.

The affected employees are not represented by a Union and do not have any bumping rights.
