KAUKAUNA — A Kaukauna 7-year-old has been chosen as the Make-A-Wish Wisconsin Drive for Dreams 2022 fundraiser cover model.

Tabitha Luehring’s face will now be seen on all sorts of promotions for the fundraiser, including on the side of a custom Make-A-Wish truck.

During the campaign, lead sponsor Bergstrom Automotive picks one Wish Kid to be its cover model, and this year it’s Luehring, according to a tweet posted Friday by Bergstrom.

Luehring was diagnosed at age 3-1/2 with a malignant brain tumor, and the Bergstrom Automotive team is helping to grant more wishes to local kids during the month-long fundraising drive.

She has endured a long and difficult treatment plan, including multiple chemotherapy treatments and hospital visits.

“Regardless of her condition, Tabby is all smiles and is a model in the making,” read a post on the Bergstrom Facebook page announcing Leuhring’s selection.

Tabby lives in Kaukauna with her parents, Nicole and Andy and brother, lan.

During the month of May, Bergstrom is teaming up with Make-A-Wish Wisconsin to help grant more wishes for local kids facing critical medical conditions.

The fundraising goal is $155,000. DONATE HERE.
