KAUKAUNA (KCN) — 2019 garbage and recycle pick-up will be a bit different in the next couple weeks due to the holiday.
The city is asking that residents’ garbage and recycling bins are placed curbside by 6:30 a.m. on the day of pick-up. They cannot send crews back out if bins were not placed early enough. The next large and irregular pick-up is the week of Jan 13.
Week of Dec. 23, 2019:
Monday, Dec. 23: Regular Monday garbage, Monday recycle pickup.
Tuesday, Dec. 24: Regular Tuesday recycle pickup; Street Dept. closed
Wednesday, Dec. 25: Street Dept. closed. Merry Christmas
Thursday, Dec. 26: Tuesday garbage pickup, Wednesday recycle pickup
Friday, Dec. 27: Wed. and Thurs. garbage pickup, Thursday recycle
Week of Dec. 30:
Monday, Dec. 30: Monday garbage pickup
Tuesday, Dec. 31: Tuesday garbage pickup
Wednesday, Jan. 1: Street Dept. closed; Happy New Year
Thursday, Jan. 2: Wednesday garbage pickup
Friday, Jan. 3: Thursday garbage pickup
