KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna police say students will be released from school on schedule as they investigate an incident on the city’s south side.

In a social media post about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said they were in the 300 block of W. 10th Street conducting an active investigation.

They asked residents to avoid the area.

Crime scene tape surrounds a house on the block, and police have been at the scene much of the day, WLUK-TV reports.

At this point, police say they do not have any reason to believe the public is at risk.
