KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna Police Department says its mobile radar speed signs are back out in Kaukauna as temperatures begin to warm up.
“Temperatures rising, snow melting, and the speed board is out! These are all sure signs of spring!” read a post on the police department’s Facebook page.
With the nicer weather, police say there is more pedestrian traffic and kids playing outside.
“Please be mindful of your speeds, and pay extra attention to pedestrians,” they say.
“THANK YOU for putting this on Gertrude street north of OO so many vehicles use this stretch for a short cut to I-41 it’s a race track between High street and Kwik Trip especially between 6:30-8am,” read one comment on the police department’s post.
