UPDATE — A gunman shot two people and seriously injured a third before police shot and killed him Saturday evening at the Oneida Casino in Ashwaubenon, authorities say.
Brown County Sheriff’s Lt. Kevin Pawlak said it appeared to be a targeted event, not a random shooting.
The intended target was not at the casino restaurant at the time, so it appears the shooter targeted several of the intended victim’s friends.
The injured victim was flown to Milwaukee for surgery, Pawlak said in a late-night news conference.
