KAUKAUNA — Karla Miller-Flynn, a health teacher in the Kaukauna High School, was recognized Thursday evening as the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce Teacher of the Year.
The award honors an educator who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to improving the quality of education and who has an inspiring presence that motivates and influences students, colleagues and the community, according to a social media post from the district.
Electa Quinney Elementary School‘s Anita Koenig was honored with the “Excellence in Special Education Award” for her outstanding commitment to serving and advocating for students with special needs. KASD is both proud and grateful that these incredible, talented, inspirational educators are part of the KASD family.
