APPLETON — A K-9 named Onix is the latest addition to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s K9 Unit.
Onix will work with Deputy Joshua Rieth who has been with the department in 2019. Onix is his first K-9.
Onix is a Narcotics, tracking and patrol K-9 who comes to Outagamie County from Mexico City, according to a post on Facebook.
The two are currently in New Mexico training and getting to know each other.
