DOOR COUNTY — A new holiday movie filmed in Door County is now available to watch on cable and streaming.

- Additional airings will occur throughout the holiday season.
- Door County Public Premiere:
- December 13 at 7 p.m. at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek.
- Holiday festivities, including caroling and cherry pie, will begin at 6 p.m.
- There will also be a free matinee showing on December 14 at 1 p.m.
The movie, filmed locally, is set during the Christmas season with Door County and features several local faces, as well as communities, venues and businesses.
Starring Katie Leclerc (Switched at Birth, A Very Vermont Christmas) and Ryan Carnes (General Hospital, Desperate Housewives), the film tells the story of pastry chef Emma Parker returning from Chicago to her family’s cherry orchard in Door County for Christmas and learning the farm is on the brink of being sold to developers. Persuaded to enter the town’s holiday pie bake-off, Emma reconnects with her high school sweetheart, Mitch and together they discover the recipe for saving the orchard – and their hearts – might just be love.
