OSHKOSH — The Oshkosh Police Department is investigating several thefts of items from boats located throughout Oshkosh.
Over the last couple of weeks, several thefts of fishing gear (taken from boats) have been reported to the Oshkosh Police Department, according to a news release published Tuesday.
Police encourage people to remove items of value from their boats, park their boats in a well-lit area and if possible, park in an area that has video surveillance.
The investigations of the thefts are ongoing and if anyone has information regarding this incident, they should contact the Oshkosh Police Department at 920-236-5700.
