KAUKAUNA — Senior Aaron Schimke, who is coming to the end of an outstanding running career at Kaukauna High School, will continue his studies and athletic career at the University of North Florida.
Schimke made it official during a signing ceremony this week at Kaukauna High School.
He has one final track and field season left before graduation.
At last year’s WIAA track and field meet in La Crosse, Schimke finished 13th in the 3200 meter run and 11th in the 1600 meter run.
At the WIAA cross country meet last October in Wisconsin Rapids, Schimke finished sixth in the boys Division 1 race.
