KAUKAUNA — Republican Joy Goeben has won election as the new representative for Wisconsin’s 5th Assembly District, which includes Kaukauna.
Goeben defeated Democrat Joseph Van Deurzen 15,280-10,258.
Goeben will take over the seat held by Rep. Jim Steineke who stepped down in July.
