GREEN BAY — Sky watchers will be in for a treat overnight, with the weather predicted to be mostly clear for the lunar eclipse during the early morning hours of Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.
Only scattered clouds are expected, mainly over eastern Wisconsin. Temperatures will be in the upper 20s to upper 30s.
The full Moon will begin passing through the shadow of Earth about 3:09 a.m. Tuesday.
The moon will be in totality for 85 minutes, from 4:17 am to 5:42 a.m.
The maximum eclipse will be at 4:59 a.m.
