KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna High School will honor former standout basketball player Jordan McCabe on Jan. 14 with a special recognition night.

McCabe, a two-time state champion and 2018 Mr. Basketball winner, will be celebrated during a pregame ceremony Jan. 14, 2025 at Kaukauna High School before the Ghosts’ game against rival Kimberly, according to a social media post from Kaukauna Boys’ Hoops Club.

The event will include a meet-and-greet, speeches, a highlight reel, and a chance to reconnect with former teammates.

McCabe led Kaukauna to state championships in 2016 and 2018., solidifying his place as one of the most successful players in Kaukauna and state basketball history.

Last April UW Green Bay hired McCabe as an assistant coach for the men’s basketball team.

McCabe, a 2018 graduate of Kaukauna High School, spent the previous season as an assistant coach at West Virginia. McCabe was on the Mountaineer’s men’s basketball team from 2019-21 before finishing his collegiate career at UNLV.

McCabe is married to the former Olivia Mogan, who also attended the University of West Virginia.
