KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna High basketball standout Addison Baumgart announced today she will attend college at Northern Michigan University where she will also play basketball for the Wildcats.
In a post on Twitter/X, Baumgart, entering her senior year for the Ghosts, thanked her family, friends, coaches and teammates.
“A special thank you to Coach Todd for everything he’s done to develop me as a player and a person over the last two years,” she wrote. “I would also like to thank Coach Thousand and Coach Jordan for believing in me and allowing me the opportunity to play basketball at the next level.”
“With all glory to God I’m beyond excited to announce my commitment to Northern Michigan,” Baumgart said.

The NCAA II school is located in the city of Marquette in Michigan’s Upper Penjnsula.
The Ghosts finished last season with an 8-17 record, losing to De Pere in the opening round of the WIAA playoffs.
