KAUKAUNA — A new restaurant featuring American and Mexican breakfast and lunch is opening in downtown Kaukauna and will hold its grand opening Saturday.

Patty and Pablo’s is located at 145 E. Second Street in the location formerly occupied by Sticky Fingers Cafe and Catering.

The owners’ names are Patricia (Patty) and Pablo, like the namesake.

Patty used to sell gorditas from the family’s front door in Mexico, and Pablo has cooked at many great brunch places, most recently SAP. Brunch, Brown Bag and Bakery in Appleton for more than five years.

“Downtown Kaukauna has shown itself to be a tight knit and supportive community, which we thought was the perfect accompaniment to our family focused dishes,” said the owners.

“We’re excited to be among such welcoming neighbors,” they said.

The main menu items are delicious chilaquiles, sweet and spicy chicken and waffles, and gorditas, which are cheesy corn-flour pockets stuffed with savory fillings like pork and steak, topped with cilantro and onion.

The grand opening will be on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

They offer both dine in and carryout options.
