APPLETON — In another milepost on the quickly changing landscape of the newspaper business, the Post Crescent announced today it would switch delivery to the U.S. Postal service.

The change will take place Monday, April 22, 2024.

The paper cites the round-the-clock online news cycle making digital products the first choice for breaking-news, and print subscribers are increasingly engaging with the digital versions of our stories.

The Post-Crescent will continue to produce the printed newspaper.

In another major announcement this week, Post Crescent parent company Gannett said it would end its partnership with the Associated Press and no longer carry AP content in the paper.
