Kaukauna High School choir instructor Joy Paffenroth and a group of choir students have been invited to be part of a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna High School choir instructor Joy Paffenroth and a group of choir students have been invited to be part of a performance at Carnegie Hall in New York City.

Paffenroth was invited by Mid America Productions to serve as a conductor on their 2024 season at Carnegie Hall.

The performance is set for April 13, 2024. The choir will travel to NYC for several days to attend rehearsals and explore the city.

Paffenroth will conduct members of the KHS Choirs, members of choirs from Colorado, the New England Symphonic Ensemble and distinguished professional soloists in a performance of “Mass in G” by Franz Schubert.
