KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna High School’s Civic Engagement Class will once again host visits with Santa at the high school.

Visits are available on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023 and Wednesday Dec. 13, 2023 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the high school library, according to Kristina Krueger, a Civic Engagement class member.

Time slots are already beginning to fill up.

Donations will be accepted to help the Students-in-Need fund at the high school.

The KHS Student In-Need Account helps students with certain expenses that they are not able to cover.

The main goal of the account is to ensure finances are not a barrier for students to get what they need to succeed in the high school experience.

VanderZanden then donated all the money he raised this winter through his work with Santa, which then was matched by the Kaukauna Lions Club.

In total, last year’s donation was almost $2,000 dollars to the KHS Student In-Need Account.

VanderZanden has helped to donate a total of over $5,000 in the past few years.
