KAUKAUNA — The Electric City Experience music festival in Kaukauna announced recently that it has presented community organizations with a total of $15,000 from this summer’s event.

The 2023 festival featured five stages of live music, great food and so much more. From Kids Carnival Day to the well-received return of our street market, the family-friendly festival served as a point of community pride and painted a positive picture of Kaukauna for our many visitors.

This year’s festival made the following funding possible, which includes contributions for volunteer efforts:

$5,000 St. Ignatius Catholic School

$2,250 Kaukauna Lions and Lioness Clubs

$2,000 Oshkosh Area Community Pantry

$1,000 Old Glory Honor Flight

$1,000 Friends of 1000 Islands

$750    Kaukauna Public Library

$500    Kaukauna Fire Department

$500 Kaukauna Police Department

$500 Kaukauna Dance Team

$250 Kaukauna Farmers Market

$250 Hope Highway Dog Rescue

$250 Center for Suicide Awareness

$250 Kaukauna Firefighters Local 1594

$250 Friends of Kaukauna Public Library

$250 Friends of Grignon Mansion

Organizers already are planning the 2024 festival.
