Based on the classic children’s novel of the same name, The Secret Garden follows Mary Lennox, a young British girl orphaned after a cholera outbreak in Colonial India, 1906. She is sent to Misselthwaite Manor, a brooding old residence situated on the gloomy moors of northern England. Inhabiting the manor is Mary’s uncle, Archibald Craven, a widower plagued with grief over the loss of his wife. Despite the memories that haunt both Mary and Archibald, they rise above their circumstances and find healing, growth, and closure following a disastrous event. The Secret Garden tells a timeless story of the many ways grief can present, redemption, healing, and hope for a brighter future.
