KAUKAUNA — The Kaukauna softball team’s quest for a third-in-a-row state title begins Thursday.

The official state send off for the team is set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at Kaukauna High School.

The team held a special sendoff Monday for the student body before the final day of school Tuesday.

The Ghosts first game of the tournament will be at noon Thursday at Goodman Diamond on the UW-Madison campus against #8 Waterford.

Division 1 Quarterfinals – Thursday, June 8
8 a.m.        Game 1 –  #2 Superior vs. #7 Menomonee Falls
10 a.m.      Game 2 –  #3 Oshkosh West vs. #6 Sun Prairie East
12 p.m.      Game 3 –  #1 Kaukauna vs. #8 Waterford
2 p.m.        Game 4 –  #4 Arrowhead vs. #5 Oak Creek

Division 1 Semifinals – Friday, June 9
7 p.m.         Game 5 – Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2 
9 p.m.         Game 6 – Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4

Division 1 Championship – Saturday,  June 10
