Paperfest, presented by Community First Credit Union, brings the fun to Sunset Park in Kimberly on July 13-16, 2023.

The Wisconsin based rock band gained popularity with generational anthems like “Closer to Free,” “Fadeaway,” “Good Things,” and “Still The Night“ to name a few.

Long known as one of the best live acts in the business with countless tunes fans know from the first note, the BoDeans bring decades of rock music and a whole lot of energy to each show.

Since 1986 the BoDeans have released 15 studio albums with ten records that hit the Billboard Top 200 Chart and numerous singles on the Rock and Top 40 charts. Their music has been featured in numerous movies, television shows, and Netflix series.

BoDeans will be playing a “homecoming” show when they return to Wisconsin with special guests Turn Turn Turn and Doozey as the opening acts.

The concert begins at 5 p.m. with Doozey, a WAMI Award winning 3 piece pop-rock band. Turn Turn Turn, a trio from Minnesota that craft an infectious pop-infused original Americana, will go on at 7:45 p.m. BoDeans will close down the Event Production Systems Sunset Stage at 9 p.m.

“We are very excited about this year’s lineup, with a little something for everyone” says Matthew Boots, Paperfest Director. “The BoDeans have produced so many great rock songs we cannot help but looking forward to an evening of great live music. A free outdoor concert with Wisconsin’s own BoDeans is something special.”

The 35th annual free-admission event offers something for the whole family with fireworks (Friday), hot air balloon glow (Saturday), carnival rides ($1 rides on Sunday), food truck rally, riverboat cruises, axe throwing, helicopter rides, family fun, and so much more.

As the sun goes down, the lights go up in a big way with 35 free live music acts across three stages including national recording artists and local favorites. The music is great, the beer is cold, but the best part is the proceeds from Paperfest are donated back into the community through various local nonprofit organizations.
