KAUKAUNA — Three players from the Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts boys’ basketball team have been named to all-Fox Valley Association conference teams.
Junior forward John O’Neill is a second-team honoree.
Junior guard Finnley Doriot and junior guard Carson Awe have been named honorable mention.
The trio are helping to lead the Ghosts deep into the post season.
Kaukauna next faces Marquette at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 9 at Hartford Union High School in a battle of the underdogs.
This will be the first game of the post season the #6 Ghosts have a favorable seeding over their opponent, #7 Marquette.
Marquette upset #2 Fond du Lac 87-80 to move on to the sectional semifinal.
The #6 seed Ghosts took care of #3 seed Sheboygan North 62-60 in the regional final after winning the semifinal 83-72 over Manitowoc Lincoln in its first-round game.
Kaukauna, (17-10) ended the season in fifth place in the Fox Valley Association.
