MADISON — The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts are sending three wrestlers to the WIAA individual wrestling championship round Saturday in Madison.
Kaukauna sent a program record-nine wrestlers to the individual tournament, with Greyson Clark, Bryan Winans and Lucas Peters advancing to the title round.
The Ghosts are be led by senior Greyson Clark, a Purdue commit, who will wrestle for his fourth state title in four years as a Ghost. He won the championship at the 138-pound weight class last season after winning at 126 in 2021 and at 106 as a freshman in 2020. He remains at 138 this year sporting a 44-0 record, which gives him a 162-7 career mark to this point.
On Tuesday, the Ghosts locked up another invitation the the team state wrestling tournament as they look toward a third-in-a-row title next week in Madison.
The championship round begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the Kohl Center in Madison.
- At 138, Greyson Clark of Kaukauna faces Riese Thornberry of Germantown
- At 132, Bryan Winans of Kaukauna faces Kellan Aure of Menomonie
- At 126, Lucas Peters of Kaukauna faces Jacob Herm of Neenah
