KAUKAUNA β€” Kaukauna High School senior Paige Miller, a standout multi-sport athlete for the Ghosts, signed her national letter of intent Wednesday to pursue a degree at the University of Wisconsin and play softball for the Badgers.

The last Ghost to play for the Badger softball team was Haley Hestekin who played for the Badgers after winning a state softball championship in 2017 with the Ghosts.

After an exceptional volleyball season her junior year, Miller announced she would continue her volleyball career at the Ohio State University.

But after winning a second state softball championship in a row this past June, Miller had a change of heart.

She announced on social media in July that she has committed to continuing her education and softball career as a UW Badger.

β€œI am extremely blessed that my athletic journey has led me back home! I’m proud to announce I will be continuing my education and softball career at The University of Madison Wisconsin. I am forever grateful for the endless support and blessings,” she wrote.

Miller and the Ghosts will shoot for a third-in-a-row state softball championship in the spring.
