APPLETON — The 2022 World Axe and Knife Throwing Championships are coming to Appleton this weekend at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center.

Friday, Dec. 2 and Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022 will be free and open the public with tickets given at the door.

The last day of the championship, Sunday, Dec. 4, 2022, will be broadcast on ESPN.

Tickets for Sunday are be $25 and will be available on site (first come first serve).

Competitors from across the United States will compete against each other for three days to win the top world title across four disciplines: hatchet, big axe, duals, and knife.

The Fox Cities will play host to the top 64 knife throwers, alongside the World Axe Throwing League’s 256 Hatchet throwers, 128 Big Axe throwers, and 128 Duals teams, all of whom are the most elite throwers in the sport from around the world.

The Fox Cities Exhibition Center will be transformed into a premiere axe and knife throwing venue for that weekend only.
