Large item garbage and trash pickup takes place in Kaukauna the second full week of the month from April through October.

KAUKAUNA — The city of Kaukauna’s monthly large-item trash pickup resumes in April for 2026, along with the spring tire and leaf collection.

Spring tire collection
April 6-9, 2026
Spring tire collection runs from April 6-9, 2026. Tires and leaves should be placed out by 7 a.m. on your regular scheduled garbage day. The Street Department will collect a maximum of four (4) tires from each residential location; rims must be removed. Tires still mounted on rims will NOT be picked up. This service is for residences only; business tires are not eligible for pick-up.

Leaves must be raked in long loose piles close to the curb. Please keep leaf piles out of the street.

Large item
April 13-16, 2026
Large/irregular garbage and branch pick-up will begin again in April. Reminder – not more than five (5) large and irregular items placed by a residential property. Each individual piece of furniture, other items not in your cart, or 30-gallon containers that weigh no more than 50 pounds with material not more than 48” tall/long, count as one (1) item each. White goods must have pre-paid stickers from the Street Department and do not count as one of your 5 items.
