GREEN BAY — Dangerously high winds and continued rain are expected across the Fox Valley through much of Saturday.

Additional rainfall amounts around 1 inch are expected for most of northeast Wisconsin, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.

Winds increase in the morning, bringing high winds gusts in excess of 50 mph to areas in east-central Wisconsin.

Wind advisories and high wind warnings are in effect for the late morning hours Saturday through Saturday evening.

Damage to trees and powers lines may result in power outages.

Travel will be difficult for high profile vehicles, especially on west-east oriented roads.

Both the wind and the rain then depart late Saturday.
