KAUKAUNA — Students from three local high schools visited two area manufacturers during a recent Manufacturing/Engineering Bus Tour.

The tour, hosted by InspireWI, visited the Ahlstrom-Munksjo Thilmany Mill in Kaukauna and automated foam manufacturer C3 Corporation in Little Chute.

Students from Kaukauna High School, Little Chute High School and Menasha High School participated.

The Inspire WI network was officially launched in 2021 when the Fox Valley’s CESA 6, Inspire Sheboygan County and Partners in Education in Rhinelander came together to connect students and educators to industry partners.

Ahlstrom-Munksjo will be holding walk-in interviews interviews for anyone interested in careers at the mill on Wednesday, March 16, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., at the mill, 600 Thilmany Road in Kaukauna.
