KAUKAUNA — The primary for Kaukauna School Board is in February, and Kaukauna Community News is currently preparing a questionnaire that we’ll send to candidates to get their views on the most important issues facing the district.

We’d like your input, too.

If you have a question you’d like us to ask the candidates, send it to us at Editor@kaukaunacommunitynews.com

We’ll compile the answers and include a selection with our questionnaire.

We plan to publish the answers at the end of this month.

There will be eight candidates running for three seats on the board. The candidates as they will be placed on the ballot are:

  • Charles West
  • Melissa Kurey
  • Chad Berken – incumbent
  • Samantha Hoffer
  • Larry W. Coons
  • Christine Bouressa – incumbent
  • Kathryn Breitzman – incubment
  • Samantha Grimh

Because of the number of candidates, there will be a primary on Tuesday Feb. 15, 2022.

Voters can choose up to three candidates, with the top six moving on to the April 5, 2022 general election.
