NEENAH — No one was injured this morning when a vehicle lost control near Neenah and hit a State Patrol cruiser during recent snowfall that blanketed the area.

The trooper was investigating a multi-vehicle crash about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday near the ramp to County Highay II on I-41 near Neenah.

That’s when a passing driver lost control of their own vehicle and struck the unoccupied cruiser, according to a news release.

The Winnebago County, Wisconsin Sheriff’s Office is investigating this crash.

This is the second WSP cruiser struck in two days.

Authorities are urging motorists to slow down and move over for emergency vehicles and vehicles stopped on the shoulder.
