KAUKAUNA — Elementary school students in Kaukauna will have one less lunch option for the time being after the district’s food vendor said they are struggling with a staffing shortage.

According to a notice from the district, due to staffing shortages within Chartwells, the district’s vendor, there will now only be a single entree offered for hot lunch at all Kaukauna Area School District elementary sites effective Monday, October 4, 2021.

A modified lunch menu will be available soon and posted.

Once the staffing shortages are controlled Chartwell plans to go back to two entree options daily.
