KAUKAUNA — A Kaukauna-based hunting guide service is giving kids a chance to be selected for a a free outdoor experience in honor of a man devoted to sharing his passion with others.

Wild Wisconsin is now accepting applications from youth hunters/fishermen that are just starting out or looking to get into the outdoors.

They will provide some gear to selected applicants and also help connect them with a guide for their desired outdoor activity.

The group asks that youth who apply be specific about what they’d like to do (fly fishing, waterfowl hunting, deer hunting, etc.)

Also, explain why they should select the applicant or your nominee for this opportunity.

The program is being launched in honor of John Feller of Kaukauna who died in January at the age of 73.

Feller was passionate about the outdoors and wanted to start a memorial in his name to provide young people the opportunity to get into the outdoors.

The group thanks Feller’s widow, Giovanna Russo Feller, and everyone that has donated thus far to the fund.

Reach out to David Voet or Trent Farrell with any questions or concerns.
