KAUKAUNA — Kaukauna High School principal Mike Werbowsky apparently will not be back for the 2016-17 school year.

0325_werbowskyA posting today on WECAN, the statewide public school job site, says the district is seeking a high school principal.

The news first was reported on Twitter Thursday evening by Brian Roebke of the Times-Villager newspaper.

The job posting goes on to say the first review of candidates will take place on April 15, 2016.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The High School Principal serves as the instructional leader of the High School, responsible for
implementing and managing the policies, regulations, and procedures of the District to ensure
that all students are educated in a safe and enjoyable learning environment. The High School
Principal works collaboratively to achieve academic excellence, leading and developing all
members of the School staff and communicating effectively with parents, students, members of the
community, and colleagues. The High School Principal is responsible for planning, curriculum
development, program evaluation, personnel management, financial management, emergency
procedures, resource scheduling, and facilities operations.

1. Leadership for Student Learning: The High School Principal drives the success of each
learner through collaborative implementation of a shared vision of teaching and learning that
leads to student academic progress and school improvement.
