KAUKAUNA — The Electric City Experience returned to Kaukauna in June and will make $17,500 in nonprofit and community investments, organizers announced this week.

The four-day June music festival drew thousands to downtown Kaukauna and earned rave reviews from artists, fans, volunteers and families who gathered to celebrate a return to community life, according to a news release.

The event featured five stages of music, carnival rides, food trucks and more.

Community partnership has always been an important component of Electric City Experience, and organizers say they are once again excited to watch the next phase of the festival’s success unfold.

This year’s festival made the following funding possible, which includes donations and contributions for volunteer efforts including:

  • $6,500 – Kaukauna Public Library Food Pantry
  • $3,000 – Warrior Songs
  • $2,000 – Kaukauna Lions
  • $1,500 – Kaukauna Public Library
  • $2,000 – Oshkosh Area Community Food Pantry
  • $500 – Kaukauna Police Department
  • $500 – Ryan Schober Scholarship Fund
  • $500 – Kaukauna Fire Department
  • $500 – Kaukauna Farmers Market
  • $250 – Friends of Grignon Mansion
  • $250 – Friends of 1000 Islands

Festival organizers wish to thank our many dedicated community sponsors.

Special thanks go to the city of Kaukauna. An event of its scope could not have happened without the hard work and commitment of city leaders and employees. Their enthusiastic involvement ensured a safe, clean and well organized festival for which the entire community can be proud.

Organizers thank everyone who came out to celebrate and support local, live music and look forward to sharing another experience in 2022.
