KAUKAUNA — Following overnight storms, more than 100 Kaukauna Utilities customers remain without power in addition to more than a thousand in Appleton.
As of 9:05 a.m., 119 customers had no power, according to the KU outage map.
Most of those were along Lawe Street and Green Bay Road in Kaukauna and Highway 00 in Little Chute.
In Appleton, more than 1,500 customers are without power, according to the WE Energies outage map.
Overnight, the National Weather Service in Green Bay predicted a few strong or severe storms with damaging wind gusts and hail up to 1-inch.
Readers reported several trees down in the area.
The forecast into the weekend includes chances of storms each day, although much of the day will be dry. Stronger storms are possible at times.
