DARBOY — The groundbreaking for the new Darboy Shell will take place at 9 a.m. on April 22, 2025.

Bayland Buildings is constructing the new 5,762-square-foot convenience store replacing the former Darboy Club.

Opening alongside Mr. Brews Taphouse, it will include Dunkin’ Donuts and a state-of-the-art touch-free car wash.

Construction wraps up in fall 2025.

The Darboy Club had been in business for 57 years, but competition from newer halls and changing tastes finally caught up and the business closed in 2019. The site was cleared in 2021.
