NEENAH — Neenah police are investigating what they are describing a suspicious death after an unidentified body was discovered Sunday morning.
According to a news release, officers responded about 8:40 a.m. Sunday to the 200 block of E. Doty Avenue for a welfare check of a man behind a residence.
Officers arrived and requested additional resources. The man was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The man was unidentified as of Sunday evening.
Police are seeking assistance from the public with any information regarding activity at Shattuck Park, 210 E. Wisconsin Avenue, and/or the 200 block of E. Doty Avenue from approximately 6 p.m. Saturday night, Nov. 23 until 9 a.m. Sunday morning.
