KAUKAUNA — A reported attic fire brought firefighters to a home on Kaukauna’s north side Monday afternoon.

About 2 p.m., the Kaukauna Fire Department was called to the 800 block of Blackwell Street on Kaukauna’s north side for a possible structure fire.

Smoke was reported coming from the attic, according to scanner traffic.

Photos from witnesses show firefighters working on the upper areas of the home.

It wasn’t long after when emergency crews were called to another fire on the city limits.

That fire was reported about 2:30 p.m.

First responders reported a barn on fire near the house, with the wind blowing toward the house.

Wrightstown and Hollandtown have been called for for assistance.

The cause of the fires has not yet been released.
