KAUKAUNA — Two development projects in Kaukauna’s Commerce Crossing are making nice progress this fall, the city of Kaukauna reports.

Legacy Creekside Apartments and U-Haul continue their rapid construction at Commerce Crossing, the site of the former dog track site just north of I-41.

Legacy Creekside Apartments has made substantial progress on construction of the first of five, three-story apartment buildings, according to a news release from the city.

The first building is the largest of the five and will have 50 market-rate apartment units with associated parking garage and overflow parking.

Uhaul is putting walls up for building A of a two-building site plan. Building A is a four-story mixed use, commercial and storage facility. It will have first floor commercial Uhaul services and floors two-four will have climate controlled personal storage.

“The City of Kaukauna is proud to see so much activity on a redevelopment site,” read a post on the city’s Facebook page.
